AM - Parkway/Sand Hill.  Ran the Parkway this morning and then over to practice.  Took a couple of the top boys out to run Sand Hill.  It was the sandiest and most difficult to run on it has ever been.  Up the big hill was 1 step up and 1/2 step sliding down.  It really set off some inflamation in my right leg (that muscle that runs up the shin).  So I iced that down a bit today.  4xbarefoot striders.  (Barefoot '10 89.75)(Stratus grey 550.85)

So St. Georgians... I think we should meet at 9:00 at the St. James church for Club tomorrow. Then we can get 6 easy miles in and then get a little stretch and the pre-race stuff done. Then run the race. Clyde, Logan do you want to run some sort of very hard tempo pace like 5:20's for a couple and then try and blast the last mile? I don't know, you tell me.

All singles? Very nice.. Is it just too dang hot to do doubles?

You know me - I am one of the biggest mileage hogs around! But this is helping my hip flexor feel so much better. So despite my desire to go snag a nice afternoon run in the heat, I just chill! How are things on the job front?

Dave that sound good. I wan't to run this semi fresh so I'm not sure I need 6 miles before maybe like 4ish. It's still going to be 100 out and the last two years I've done it I've gotten surprisingly zapped while trying to race. So I was thinking 3-4 warm up, then the race and then a couple cool down after the beating. Still giving us 8-10 depending on the cool down. But I'll just plan on being there at 9 and then we can work it out.

Thats the same muscle that hurts me on tempo runs. Sounds like a sweet run. I dont like missing out on sweet runs like that. :/

What the crap are you training for? Some Saharan ultra? On the coaching front, are you doing the CPR training the Tues. of our camp week? Let me know.
