AM - 5 Warm Springs.  As to be expected, not a whole lot in the ol' legs this morning.  Pretty mild out.  (Cumulus white 852.4)

afternoon - 8.25 Devil.  Went out on the Devil's run.  Felt predictably tired and flat, so an easy run was needed/deserved.  Ended with weights and Molly's Mile.  (Landreth orange 841.1)

Dang...Just noticed how many different shoes you have used....! Looks like you have been running a long time. I've only worn out two pair. Just bought my third pair (Mizuno Wave Runner 14). Now I know where to go for shoe advice...ha ha... Anyway...Hi and keep up the pace...!

Nice job on the 1000s yesterday. I did a tempo workout yesterday and then lifted this morning and I'm feeling it now. I'm going to be doing some 1000s in the next few weeks, but my pace will be a little bit slower for sure.

Dustin,

yeah I just looked at your tempo - that is a very good starting point. Tempos are the bread and butter of it all after all.

I Just Run,

Rotating shoes is one of the best things you can do. Of course it can be expensive, but just initially. I try and tell my XC kids to get a pair before their current pair wears out. Even just rotating 2-3 shoes will extend the shoe life and cut down on your own injuries - thus, actually making it less expensive in the long run.
