7.2 1:00:05 143 Up the canyon and back a couple times, almost. 1.0 9:19.9 132 1.0 8:51.0 139 - Turn 1.0 8:206 141 1.0 7:45.1 148 - Turn 1.0 8:25.6 146 0.6 4:58.2 146 - Turn 0.6 4:46.8 148 1.0 7:38.2 149 30°F and Snowing - Same apparel as always. If every winter day could be like today, I would have no problem running through the year. Once the flakes became more flake-like and less like eye-searching little pellets, it was very enjoyable! The little hill up 1st Dam (and down from it) were cause for slowing, but it wasn't bad.

6.0 1:00:17 139 - Canyon to LRTH 1.0 10:05.1 138 1.0 9:26.4 140 Turn 1.0 8:57.7 138 1.0 8:46.6 138 Turn 1.0 9:30 140 0.25 2:29.0 139 Turn 0.25 2:27.7 140 1.0 8:34.2 139 3ºF - Windbreaker, fleece vest, long and short sleeved T-shirts, long johns and wind-breaking pants, beanie, gloves... This was like blind trail running. I could see the surface of the snow/slush/road, but rarely was it indicative of the where my feet would stop moving down...

-1ºF - Same as yesterday, but the sun came up while I was running. It was nice to run without a headlamp and see the crisp, freezing world awake... My eyelashes and cheeks were covered with frost by the time I was done. |

22ºF - Same as yesterday, without the fleece vest. Afternoon run made for nicer temperatures and light! I saw the sunset as I ran by the university. |
