Very hot but very cool race.  I ran this one on the advice of my brother Nicholas.  Plus Ogden is in my old stopping grounds.  First mile is mostly uphill on a single track trail.  i made the mistake of getting trapped in behind a lot people who ended up walking part of it.  hard to get in any kind of pace.  the rest of the race was beautiful on the trail, but i was feeling very sluggish from mile 3 to finish.  Just haven't figured out how to increase the pace in the heat and late start (3 pm).  However it was a great confidence boost just to have keep going when I didn't feel great.  avg about 8:23
