That's a good sign. I wrote about the same idea on my blog yesterday.
If you have a default easy pace, a pace you slip into that you feel like you could maintain forever, it's a very good sign if you notice that pace getting faster.

Thanks for the comment. I define my easy pace with a 3 / 3 breathing pattern; the 3/3 breathing pattern makes me run a certain pace and that is usually around the calculated easy pace; and it looks like that the speed is increasing; i guess it is also because of my hill training; so i am able to run hills faster.
there are different kind of easy paces: there is the one you described where you think you can run forever; but than there is an easy speed slightly faster you are still comfortably but you know you are able only to run a certain amount of miles; i think i need to focus on the easy speed that i think i can run forever; i try to adhere to that speed but sometimes it overcomes you and then you just take off because it feels easy.
but also the weather is perfect in ATL; rainy and higher 40s; it will not stay this way for a long time.

I lived in Greenville, SC for 18 years and grew up in Florida so I know what you mean.
Utah - no humidity and it's always cool in the mornings even when the temperature gets over 100 during the day.
Winter is a different story.
