another day without running but this is one of the best excuses i've had in a while to miss it. i was completely ready to run but came outside to find my tires had been jacked, and no one else in the lot. it's messed up, and after filing a police report and knowing replacing this is all coming out of pocket after buying new ones just a couple months ago, i'm demoralized to the point where i don't think a run would fix it. it's a cold world man

oh don't worry! i may have been reared in the later stages of the mp3/walkman generation of music players but "frugal" parents meant i wasn't getting enough for anything but a CD player from doing chores until probably 2009.

still remember the last chore i had to do before having enough to get my first mp3 player; it was mowing a 20-acre field we owned at the time. it took about a week and the only thing that kept me going was knowing the next time i mowed the lawn i could do it with an ipod!
