i think you might be confusing my training with somebody else’s... :)
meant to put a comment on your post about abstaining from running. i can’t begin to imagine how frustrating it is to see every ounce of fitness you worked for to go down the drain, and i’m sure it’s conjured some negative emotions towards running. there’s nothing wrong with taking a hiatus, even a very long one. you’re a talented runner and while COVID may have obliterated your fitness, talent is something your immune system has no control over. i’ve been sure i was done with running being a part of my life a couple times, yet here i am. so even if it doesn’t seem welcoming now when the day comes where all negative repercussions of the virus are gone, the joy you can get from this strange, painful exercise will be waiting, if you do choose to reignite that flame. if not, you’ve shown the dedication to the sport for me to know whatever endeavor you put your mind to, you can excel at it. wishing you the best, for today and the future.
