Short-Term Running Goals: -Find some good local races to run that will motivate me to stay in shape. Long-Term Running Goals: -Run a few fast marathons. Grandma's, St. George, and Boston are on my target list.
-Stay fit for a very long time. I believe what goes into making a competitive runner at age 60 is much different than age 20, just like what goes into making a good marathoner differs from a good sprinter. I hope that by taking care of my body, I can be very fast for my age as I get older.
Personal: I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I live in the Twin Cities with my family and am an Epidemiology PhD Student. Running is the only hobby I have time for :) |

| | Woohoo! 1.92 miles at a scorching 8:27 pace. I feel very sore, out of shape, and it hurt a lot (but hopefully not in a bad way). Good to be back at it though!!

| | Could be wrong about this but I may have been torching 7:45 pace. I definitely started out my run getting to the road before the tracks at 4:55 instead of 5:09 like last time. Still felt kind of yucky in the tummy.

| | Woah!!! I feel worlds better than the past couple days. Went 7:12 pace today and felt way more normal. That is very exciting. Probably time to start planning for the future.

| | 6 miles, 7:05 pace. Still avoiding hills by continuing straight across the bridge and under the bridges towards downtown.

| | Wasn't feeling very good in the groin area. And it was cold out today, below 40 degrees. Maybe that is why I apparently only ran 7:21 pace.
