I decided that I need more hill training in my regimen. I'm a terrible hill runner, and I know there are plenty in TOU. I ran a 3 mile warm up to the bottom of Bullion hill. This hill is .27 miles. I ran 6 of them. I ran to the bottom to recover. I averaged 1:45 up, and 2 minutes back down on each one. Then, I ran to the steeper but shorter hill up to 1300 W. This hill is .12 miles long. I ran 4 of them. 49-50 seconds up, 1 minute back down. I was definitely not too quick this morning. Hills will take some work. Ran a mile home to finish. |
