| I have just been running a few days a week for the fun of it. But, my competitive nature is starting to kick in, so I want to train to race again. I'm aiming for SL Half in two weeks. It won't be anything spectacular, but it will give me something to shoot for. I tried to run outside. I made it a half mile. I couldn't see through the snow/rain mix. I ran on the treadmill instead. 6.75 miles | Add Comment |

| Laps in Valley Park. My goals for the week were to hit 40 miles and run every day. I'm going to surpass my goal tomorrow, and that makes me very happy! It will be my first full week of running since having Cali seven months ago. I'm glad to be training again. I'mean preparing for a big Master's debut in September. It will be a whole new world of running for this old lady! 7:22 average.

| Long run with a fartlek workout incorporated. 30 minutes easy. 1-2-3-4-5-4-3-2-1 minute intervals with 1-1-2-2-3-2-2-1 minute recoveries. Finished with a marathon paced mile. 7:34, 7:06, 7:16, 7:01, 6:41, 6:38, 6:42, 6:34, 6:18, 6:35, 6:31, 6:21. 6:46 average. I like the workout within the longer run.
