3 x USA team member Short-Term Running Goals: I would like to run an Olympic Trials Qualifier in the marathon.
I would also like to run on one more international team before I pack it in!
Stay healthy! (My biggest challenge!) Long-Term Running Goals: Run my whole life, and then live vicariously through my children. (just kidding) , but I do want to pass on a healthy lifestyle to them.
Help coach East High to a state championship. (hope it doesn't take a lifetime!) Personal: I've been running since I was nine. I'm married to a fellow runner who inspires and supports me. We have two children: Cole (4) and Lily (18 mos.) I help Bill Cobler coach cross country at East High School. |

| Beautiful morning. I ran over to the Taylorsville track for a speed workout. I warmed up three miles. I ran four sets of 200,400, 600 with 200, 200, 400 recovery. They were NOT fast. I think I'm going to try to find a babysitter and do speed later in the day from now on. It's really difficult to move quickly at 6 am. Plus, I can't see my splits in the dark. Set 1: 39, missed the split, 2:12 (ugh) Set 2: 41, 83, 2:10 Set 3: 40, 82, 2:08 Set 4: 39, 82, 2:07 At least I got faster over the workout. I cooled down 1.6 miles. Later am: Zumba! | Add Comment |

| I felt pretty terrible the first couple miles of my run today. I missed the morning because I was up with Myles last night. He has learned how to climb out of his crib, so we are trying to get him to sleep in a toddler bed. It's not going well. I hired a babysitter, and managed to sneak out for an afternoon run, which was nice. Sixty degrees. Can't complain! I even ran down on the trail, which I avoid in the dark. 6:56 average. | Windy long run with Caisa and her friends. I always feel so ghetto when I run with the SoJo girls. It must be my Target ensemble and lack of makeup at six in the morning. I missed Jenny.
