Well, I did 8 miles this morning with the Dave, Bill, James, and Steve. Since the St. George Marathon I've gotten pretty out of shape and have gained quite a bit of weight. I really ballooned over the break, I was really shocked when I got on the scale last night and weighed 162, that is almost a record high. I think I was 165 for awhile when Sunny was pregnant with Jansen. Anyway now that the new year is here I guess it is time to get back to running and eating better. I felt pretty sore and stiff on the run this morning so I turned back early, it will take some time to get back into shape, but I'm confident I can lose the weight and get back to running more competitively again. My pace was pretty good the first 4 miles around 7:20 average, but I slowed down a lot the second 4 miles. Overall pace was 8:00 |
