Week 1 of the 18 week build up to Ogden Marathon.
Ran over to Pah Tempe and attempted to do a few hill repeats. The plan called for 3, but I only managed two and neither one was that great.
2 mile warm-up
1-2:21- trouble from the beginning with coughing and struggling to get in a rhythm going up the hill
2-2:26- this repeat was worse than the first one, I pushed all the way to the top and then died.
2 mile cool-down
This wasn't really how I was hoping the workout would go, but at least I tried. I will be back for hill repeats in a 3 weeks, hope it goes better. Next Monday will be 1000's, then the next week mile repeats, then back to hill repeats. |
