Very nice afternoon. 60 degrees. It would have felt too warm if not for the breeze. Ran on the dirt road up around the reservoir. 8:13 AP

I ran 10.3 miles on the beach in San Diego. The weather was great. Temp was in the lower 60s with a nice breeze. When I didn't get the breeze it felt too hot. I ran partly on the sand and partly on the boardwalk. The first mile was around 8:30 then the rest were between 7:19 and 7:52. Overall ave for 10 was 7:45. I've never seen a place where there are so many people running. It was a fun run. Wish I could have gotten in a couple more runs while I was down there.

Later that afternoon, my wife and I went on a 5 mile hike in the Torrey Pines State Park.
