Ran 5 miles with 3 or 4 strides thrown in. Last mile in 7:29. It's amazing how much harder that pace feels when i'm not real fit. Hard to imagine running a full marathon at 40 second faster pace just a couple of years ago.  Overall pace was 8:13.

6 miles after dark. Lots of snow on the road and a lot of snow coming down. My Garmin battery went dead and I just took the whole run slow and enjoyed.

Ran 6 miles on a lot of snow again with snow coming down. The footing was a bit tough so just ran a nice easy pace. 9:43 A/P

Was planning to do a longer run but didn't get out soon enough and only had time to get in 2 on the treadmill.

Got more workout than usual tonight. We played man to man defense and I spent most of the time guarding a kid that was around 18 most of the time that was very active about running all over the court. I just took it as an opportunity to get in a better workout.

Easy 5 miles. Legs still felt a bit fatigued from last night. Ran pretty slow but picked up the pace the last 200 to around 6 min pace. Overall pace was 8:44.

Only had time for 4 miles today when I got out. When I started my legs felt like they had a little more pop than they have had lately so I decided to pick up the pace for this run which is something I haven't done in a while. I ran 8:10, 7:46, 7:18, and 6:48. Overall pace was 7:31.

Still very warm for February. 51 deg on todays run. That temp is hard to beat for running anytime of the year. Ran up the reservoir road again. It's mostly dry now with just a few muddy spots next to melting snow drifts. Just ran an easy 7 miles at 8:46 AP.

Left for San Diego later in the day.
