I have ran three marathons. SGM in 2005, Ogden in 2006, and SGM 2006. My best time in a marathon is Ut. Valley Marathon 3:59:46. I have ran seven half marathons, some 10k's and 5k"s. My favorite marathon is SGM.I have ran 13 Marathons, will be during my first Ultra in march of 2013, it will be the Antalope Island Buffalo Run, a 50k.
2008 SGM PR 4:02:23 The best is yet to come. Short-Term Running Goals: Short term running goal is to increase my four days a week of running to five to six days a week. Do more speed work this coming year. Bring my times down. I would like to do SGM in 4 hrs or less. Long-Term Running Goals: Keep up with my Brother Clay in a marathon, someday do a sub four hour marathon, and BQ. Personal: I have been married for 34Years, and am still madly in love with my wife Wendy. I have four children and six Grand children.

| Nice run around the golf course legs did feel good after three days of rest. I would like to try and get in five days this week, may be difficult as this will be a busy week. I did 25 min on the bowflex to try and keep the upper body strong, then finished with 200 crunches and 15 min on the eliptical. |

| Nice run today the temps were awesome in the med 60's, very overcast a storm coming in tomorrow. I hope it will clear before I get home from work for my run. I did feel okay for thr most part, did 25 min of bowflex on upper body and finished with 200 crunches. |

| Nice run the weather starting to turn for the not so good. It was windy and starting to rain oh well it is that time for it to change. Seen a few deer off the side of the road by the time I arrived home it was pitch dark. |

| Winter has finally arrived here in the Rocky Mts. I woke up to a snow storm and cold temps. went back to bed thought I was having a real bad nightmare. when I awoke the sun was out still cold and a little bit windy, I put on the winter running garb and headed out the door. I went to the top of Harry's Hill and back today, round trip is a little over ten miles. Legs did good most of the way kind of got tired the last mile, but all in all it was a great run. I arrived home just in time to beat another squall line of snow and wind. |
