UNLV Desert Invitational (5 Miles) 00:27:51, Place overall: 8, Place in age division: 3 | | Race, Vegas- Good race. I feel like this is probably my best race this season. It was a difficult course (We actually raced there in High School) with lots of sand on a 1/2 mile or so hill but I still got a 4 second PR. 8th overall, 3rd scoring, 1st on the team. I felt really good, physically as well as mentally. Calves super sore afterwards though. |

AM: 3, Hansen Statium- Late again. Dang paper route. Drove around trying to find them but couldn't so went back to the track and just did nice easy laps until they came back.
PM: 7, Hansen Statium- 12 x 400, a lot better than I was expecting. The wind was horrible though. It decided to blow hard on some but not as hard on others. Whow. Just me and Sean and my sweet new shorts. Times: 1:14, 1:09, 1:08, 1:16, 1:11, 1:13, 1:12, 1:12, 1:13, 1:12, 1:10, 1:09. Dang wind. Pretty fun though, not going to lie. |

Color Country Invitational (3.7 Miles) 00:21:55
Race, Color Country Invitaional- Dumb. Not my best race. Probably my worst. I guess it was just on of those days. I felt heavy and drained. It was just super hard to get moving. It was great to see the High School team there, I couldn't help but grin when I saw them. You guys are awesome, thanks for coming! (Next time come when I have a good race) :) Hopefully that will be the next one, seeing that it's conference. So bring on the Ice, The Stick, and the Stretching. |

| | 6.5, Foremaster- Last weekend I was feeling rather discouraged about running, I felt like I wasn't really improving and that I wasn't going to feel better physically. I didn't end up running Friday or Saturday. When I went to practice this morning I realized that I missed it. It felt so good to run again. It confirmed to me that running is a part of who I am and I could never give it up. Running gives me so much joy and helps me in so many ways that I wouldn't get anywhere else. |

| | 10, AZ Boarder- 2x4 mile tempo, the first one was not very good at all. I didn't feel good and just ugh. On the Second one I finally started to feel warmed up and did really well. Felt strong and just great. I hate how the team doesn't believe in warm ups. |

| | 6, State XC- So much fun being at state. Girls did so Megan Amazing. I miss it. Running around the course my knee was hurting a bit and my ankle hurting rather badly. Hurt a lot more on grass, which doesn't seem to be what should happen, but I noticed it hurt because I kept rolling it on grass. Didn't happen so much on the concret. |

| | 6, Webb Hill- Pretty hard today. I felt like the altitude decided to rise a couple hundred feet without bothering to tell us. Had a harder time breathing. Definitely need to stretch more. |

Pac West Conference (5 Miles) 00:27:43
Race- Super fun Trip to Phoenix, but not the best race. I was feeling pretty good during the warm up but once the race started I didnt have it with me. I wasn't completly there mentally and that was certainly a problem. After the race was over my feet were burning, I think I need new racers. Although I did get a PR, it was a faster course and I felt like I could have done better. It was a good learning experience and was still way fun to race and I'm glad I was able to. Next time, I am determind to feel good about my race, knowing I pushed as hard as I could for the whole thing. |

| | 8, Ivins/Santa Clara- 3 mile warm up, 1 mile Tempo, 1 mile recovery, 1.5 mile Tempo, 1.5 mile cool down. I was planning on going 10 and two 2 mile Tempo's but my calf was hurting really badly, and especially during the tempo sections so I decided to shorten it a bit. It was kinda nice to run somewhere new/different. Glutes and Hips giving a little trouble but for the most part it was a pretty good run. |
