Today's long run felt really good. I ran at about an 8:30 for the first 7 miles. Then picked up the last mile and a half. Every 400m I would increase my speed until the last .25 I was at a 7:30 pace. It wasn't anything spectacular, and I know that I could have run that last mile and a half a lot faster, but I wanted to end on a high note, but not do something stupid and get injured or whatever. Three weeks in a row are encouraging, should be good for the next little while too.
