Just wasn't feeling a five miler today. So I decided for a 5K instead. Started the first mile at 7:45 and then kicked up the next 2.2 miles at a 6:27 pace. In the Army we are graded on how fast we can run our 2 mile. To get full points I have to run it in 13:00 and it was nice to see that I was able to do that today on a treadmill, at 6,400ft elevation, and on a "hill" workout on the treadmill. Cool stuff. I can't wait to get back to Italy! |
