Today was my long run of the week. I was a bit nervous because I haven't run this distance in quite a while, but I ended up better than I thought. My goal was to run in just a little over an hour. I was happy with a 1:02:00 goal. The course was pretty hilly a long down hill part, and a lot of uphill as well. Whatever goes down hill must eventually come back up here on Ft. Benning. The elevation ranged from 489 ft (above sea level) down to 266 ft. Doesn't sound like much, but man did it feel like it. However, I ended up running the 8 miles in 59:23!
