Running Accomplishments:

Pretty new. Have done some training for specific Army competitions which have got me running a pretty decent amount, but by no means incredible.

1/2 marathon- (haven't done it yet)

Short-Term Running Goals:

Sub 19:00 5k

Run one marathon within the next 12 months

Stay healthy this year. Coming off of a bad shin splint which took about 3-4 months to fully recover.

Build back up to 60+ miles a week

Long-Term Running Goals:

Finish a marathon sub 3:00:00 

Personal:

A CPT in the US Army stationed at Fort Benning, GA. I've three wonderful kids and the best wife I could ask for. Been away from the running scene for a while, and I sure miss it. Trying to make a comeback!

Today was a good run. I ran with Ethan (18 months) in our running stroller. I averaged an 8:23 pace, 42:15. Not great, but I had a running stroller so it was expected. I felt good and the stroller was probably a help to make sure that I wasn't running faster than I should have. However, I like to not be much slower than an 8:00 pace. Oh well.
