Pretty new. Have done some training for specific Army competitions which have got me running a pretty decent amount, but by no means incredible.

Stay healthy this year. Coming off of a bad shin splint which took about 3-4 months to fully recover.
Build back up to 60+ miles a week

Personal:
A CPT in the US Army stationed at Fort Benning, GA. I've three wonderful kids and the best wife I could ask for. Been away from the running scene for a while, and I sure miss it. Trying to make a comeback!
My long run for the week. I wish I could do more, but it kills me to run 8 miles on a treadmill. I ran about a 8:30 pace. I have been trying to run a little slower on my longer run days. Another week done.

You're getting in some good, consistent mileage now Colby. Are you beginning the build-up for your marathon in March?

You know, I'd say for your first marathon that the goal should be for it to be a positive experience. Two things you should be focusing on...
1. Consistency in your training.
2. The weekly or bi-weekly long run. Ultimately, the more 20 milers you can squeeze in, the better you will do. Nost first time marathoners only manage one or two. I don't think that's enough.
