Stay healthy this year. Coming off of a bad shin splint which took about 3-4 months to fully recover.

Build back up to 60+ miles a week

Long-Term Running Goals:

Finish a marathon sub 3:00:00

Personal:

A CPT in the US Army stationed at Fort Benning, GA. I've three wonderful kids and the best wife I could ask for. Been away from the running scene for a while, and I sure miss it. Trying to make a comeback!

Hey hey, look at that! Ran the 5k today and set a PR. 19:43. I was realistically shooting for some between a 19:10-30, my legs kind of gave out on me the last mile. But I am still pretty stoked about that finish. I know that a lot of the really good runners weren't out there so my measly time got 1st in my age division, but you gotta start somewhere! My previous 5k time was 21:00 and that is the only other race I have run in.

GREAT JOB! That was a really fun race, they did a good job and I liked the course (no hills!)

I think you are super speedy! Good luck with all of your future races, can't wait to see the times fill in those blank spots!
