Finally was able to get back to the gym. We were on a mission for a couple of days to help out in another AO. It was pretty awesome. 61 mortar rounds, 1 javelin rocket, 1 F-16 gunrun, and a bunch of machine gun and M4 rounds. We got some bad guys too, which makes it even better. And best of all, my platoon had no casualties!

I was feeling like I was going to do a slower run today, around 8:00pace. But I was feeling pretty good. My splits were:

8:10   7:53   7:30   7:30   6:22   6:22   7:30 (last .2 of a mile)

I felt pretty good about running a 12:44 on my last two miles, especially after running 4. PT test will be good when we get back to Italy...November can't come any sooner!

Way to go soldier! (I'm sure you get that a lot). Those 6:22 look very encouraging!
