Cold (8°) but dry today.  I spent most of the run in one of the two tracks that cars make with their tires.  Made for better traction.  I ran into Millville and ran up 550 N and came back through Providence.  I hit the hills hard and took it easy on the flats.

Are you running Sat morning before the move? And am I helping Sat, as well as Fri?

From cody on Wed, Dec 17, 2008 at 12:27:35

I need you Friday for sure and only if you want on Sat. I was going to run Sat, but not very far and somewhat early. Maybe around 6:30-7 or so.

Are those magic shoes? How in the world are you running sub-7 miles in the snow? I feel like the Road-Runner out there, before he gets traction!

From cody on Wed, Dec 17, 2008 at 18:00:15

Dale- I think that is one of the other side effects of single digit temps. the snow is crunchier (better traction) than when the sun is out and it is melting. Although I admit I ran down the middle of the road today to run in the car's tracks which were mostly dry.

Keep up the nice training Dale!

I don't think I can bring myself to hope for colder temps....I'm too much of a wuss.

Watch out for those electric cars....you can't hear them coming up behind you!
