Met Logan and Dave here at my house at 4:50 a.m to do another 7 mile tempo. But in thought leading to the event we decided with the race this weekend maybe we should only do one workout this week. That being the one on Tuesday. So we just ran the tempo loop in revers. It was particularly hard. I had planned on doing 3.5 more or so to hit 16 for the day but after Logan and Dave left I couldn't get myself to go back out. I'm overall fatigued and the legs are pretty crampy. I need to get a nap in today and spend some quality time with the "stick" rubbing out my calves, quads, and hammy area. Hopefully with that and a mini taper I'll be able to cash in on a pretty solid 10k this Saturday. |
