Got up at 4:15 so I could go run with Sasha at 5 a.m. Those guys don't mess around about getting up in the morning. We did the first 6 or so easy and then started a tempo. I knew that with these sore legs it was going to be trouble. So my plan was to bail out at 2.5 miles into the tempo when Sasha turned around. It almost worked. I had to slow the pace down at 2 miles into the tempo. My quads hurt like never before. Then it felt good to just finish the run at easy pace. Now we are off to SLC to a wedding. I'm not sure I've ever mentioned this before on the blog... but I'm not a big northern Utah fan. Too cold, too many crazy people, and not enough color in the rocks and dirt.

You're not the only one hurting from the race. I thought I was fine after the race on Saturday, but Sunday and yesterday I was really sore, which surprised me. I knew the first few miles were steep downhill, but I didn't think this would be a race that would take so much out of my legs. I didn't get a run in yesterday, but hope to hit some easier miles tonight. When are you guys coming back?

Ditto to your N. Utah sentiments. But the people are great! If there wasn't just so stinking many of them.

Clyde my Bike is for sale if you want to come by and take a look at it, it could use the warm weather you are talking about down there in the desert... HAHA

Clay we left town already. I'm down in Torrey now. What is the details of your bike. I think I could tell it was a shadow... but size and year. I'd love it but I just don't have room right now for one at my house. We have a two car garage and two cars to put in it, and there is no other place to put a bike.

Its a 2005 Honda Shadow VT 750, it has been a fun bike to learn to ride on, with the weather and the time of year I probably won't be able to move it until spring anyway and then I will be itching to ride again...
