12.2 mile morning run. Regular overpass loop. I'm really slow coming around but I guess in a few days I should be good to go. Finished the run pretty dehydrated and jumped on the scale to a new all time low of 144.5 lbs. No wonder I felt absolutely crappy this morning.

7.8 mile run in the afternoon heat. It was 109 when I left the house!!! Up over the hill and down into GS. At the upper golf course restroom I stopped for water and a potty break. I had carried water to that point and it really wasn't too bad. Then I tried to take off again after stopping and the last 3 miles were a killer. The beauty of it is that by 5:30 or so I was done for the day and in the shower.

So what is the plan for tomorrow's Workout? I need to be home no later than 8:30 since the girls are in the parade. Let me know. I was thinking DC might be a good place to do these Tinman Bigs - but whatever you guys want.

From Superfly on Wed, Jul 23, 2008 at 12:36:29

I was also thinking the DC would be a good idea. But along with your blog I'm having second thought about how smart this workout will be tomorrow. Hopefully It won't kill us.

I think we give it a try and back it off if we/I need to. What about 6:00 am at the DC?

From Paul Petersen on Wed, Jul 23, 2008 at 12:50:50

If you start feeling sore or beat-up during the workout, just ease up, complete the distance and be sure to do some strides; focus on a good workout Saturday instead. But things may turn around for you by tomorrow.

Dave- 6 sounds good. Can I catch a ride?

Paul- That is what I'll do. Make sure to get the mileage in and back off the pace if things feel too hard.

Dave, Logan and beyond. I'll just plan on going to the DC at 6 a.m. If you need to change let me know. Also Dave I don't need a ride. I forgot that Mik'L is closed tomorrow and I'll have the car.

6am sounds good. See you tomorrow.
