Group run down at the Dixie Center. We did the first 12 miles at like 7:40 pace. Just really relaxed and chatty. Then we started to move the pace down progressively and I finished with the last 3 miles being at 6 min pace. Ok run for whats just been an o.k. week. It feels like I've been kind of flaky in my training this week. But I've been really busy with work and it just drained me. Plus I had the shin thing early in the week and some really sore hammy's the last part of the week. Oh well!

Clyde,

Thanks for the encouragement. We did have a good run Thursday. It was supposed to be a pretty even tempo, but we always start pushing each other. I was really happy to see the endurance building up in my legs. Those last 5 miles felt really good.

I was going to tell you a long time ago but I like your blog title, it's pretty funny.

The tittle is pretty cool. So you a big Colbie Calliat fan. Ah, sorry for not making it this morning, had to help at the tri. Nice mileage see you Thursday.

Sounds good. The mouth of Moki Canyon right against the south wall is where people have been catching all the fish. There's a pretty good sized bass tournament next week. Are your signed up? Registration is next Friday 5:00 pm at Hobbie Cat beach.

Has Damon Cox been out on a run with you guys since he has been in town?

From Superfly on Sun, Apr 20, 2008 at 21:35:45

James- I haven't seen Damon. Is he down here for a long time or just for the weekend?

From James on Mon, Apr 21, 2008 at 16:39:30

He has been there for a month and mentioned he was going to run with Steve and some of you guys.

From Steve on Mon, Apr 21, 2008 at 23:31:11

James - He came into the store about 2-3 weeks ago and we chatted for about an hour. He said he was going to come run with us on Thurs. but never showed. He said He hadn't been running much because he's been so busy. The good news is he's planning on settling here in St George after he's done with residency.
