Same GS loop extended around Middleton... it's working for me right now. I felt a lot better than yesterday and had minimal pain in the hammy. I just took it easy and enjoyed the beautiful morning. As I was making my way up the trial I could see a coyote weaving through the bushes about 50 yards in front of me. The neat part was that he hadn't noticed me yet. I had the wind at my face (plus I don't eat that much garlic) so he couldn't smell me. After I got even with him he saw me and look mad I'd caught him off guard but he keep his nose down and didn't leave his morning hunt.

I tried to keep everything square and ran within my means to prevent anything from hurting later today. All I want to do is hold 5:20 pace for a half or even just go out for an easy 25-30 mile run. But I think those things will have to wait... however the second one might come faster than the first.

Sounds like your being smart with the injury. That 5:20 pace will come no prob. Another month and I will get back to the club runs.

Keep being patient with the injury. Sounds like things are looking up. Are you going to come up for SLC or Ogden this year. I hope so. I look forward to chatting with you.

Seth

PS Meagan is having a baby in Aug. We are super excited.

Thanks guys.

Seth Congrats on the baby! We love babies around here... now. I won't be coming up to those races. I'm not in race shape but it sure would be fun to come up and watch and see everyone. Are you racing both? If so good luck!
