12.3 mile morning run. The new standard loop. The legs felt pretty sore from Saturdays workout... very sore actually. That's a good sign- it means I got a good workout on the club run on Saturday. So I just went out this morning and tried to focus on good form, breathing, and stride turnover. Amazingly I finished in 1:28:24. That's faster than any of my times last week when I had fresh legs. So I hope the good luck trend continues and I can shake out these sore legs and get ready to have a good race for the Spectrum 10k. (White Cumulus 136.4) 7.8 mile run this evening. The legs a little more heavy and stiff than they did this morning (not good news). I pushed myself out the door and drug it along up into GS and onto the Powerline trail. The good news is the weather was just priceless today. What a nice afternoon/ evening clear and calm and right around 70 degrees. |
