TM again. The rain pounded all night and I was sure by morning it would be done... Nope. Still coming down strong. I spent yesterday and today delivering Christmas gifts to our clients and board members. So I was out and about and saw the river. It's massive! Happy trails to the trail down by the river. There's a good portion under water now. Hope the St. George half can still go that way.

Finally got outside for a run this week. Ran over to the freeway and then took the trail above the river back into B-hills. The sight was AMAZING! That is right where the Santa Clara River and the Virgin River meet. It looked like an ocean. I'm not kidding it was massive. A sight I'll never forget. I run those trails all the time and have seen the river from every angle... this was crazy. Anyways the legs felt pretty good and I was glad to have gotten out.

Yeah what is the deal with all rain down there? Hope it ends soon and the damage is minimal. We were hoping to see some sun when we come down for the week next week.

Yeah, last time (2005) that section of the trail was taken down the river and not repaired for 2 years.

Yeah not sure what the deal was with all this rain. But as of today (Thursday) it looks to be drying up.

As for the trail... yeah it could take a while to get fixed.
