Run a couple of half and full marathons. Would love to run a 2:45 marathon.

Married with three kids
8 miles on the treadmill. Gradually got a little faster with each mile. Splits were 8:40, 7:45, 7:30, 7:12, 7:04, 7:00, 6:55, 6:45. Felt good
4 easy miles on the mill at 8 minute pace-(kind of feel like I am getting a sore throat)
Warm up on the mill. Then did 3x3 miles with .25 jog in between. My splits were 6:25, 6:20, 6:15. Then did mile cool down.
Did a 7 mile tempo run outside. Splits were 7:02, 6:42, 6:26, 6:24, 7:04, 6:56, 6:53. (Avg 6:48 pace) perfect temp and I felt really good.
