Didn't have to work today, so I slept in and ran late this morning. I was well rested and it felt easy. I didn't take it too fast, I'm doing speed tomorrow.

Did the first 8 miles with the dog and the last 3.02 with the wife and kid. She ran surprising fast today for a woman thats on her fifth month of pregnancy.

3 easy miles followed by 3 miles of mile repeats. By the second 2 of mile repeats, my short legged dog was dead on his feet and couldn't keep up, so he stayed home for the remainder. Being faster then a short legged dog makes me feel superior some how. Everyone rates their sucess differently I guess.

Mile repeats:

Mile one 5:39

Mile two 5:25

Mile three 5:13

I felt like I could have gone faster, but fast enough for where I want to be in my training right now.

Cooled down with another three miles of running with my wife and pushing the baby jogger.

Stiff and sore from yesterdays speed. Took it pretty easy.

Got up too early and ran. Had an early work meeting in Cedar this morning. Glad I got the run in. It was dark the whole way.

Didn't feel like running this morning. Almost thought about not doing it, way too cold. Finally got up earlier then normal and just did it. Ran 8 miles with dog at comfortable pace.

Did another 3 with wife and baby jogger. Pretty good mileage for almost not going, glad I went.
