Didn't finish last week out very strong.  Disneyland is my excuse.  I took a few days off to be with my kids.  Now I have to live with my shame.

Picked my bike up at the shop on the way home.  I had a tune up done on it along with some new tires.  She's purring like a kitten.

Did a 55 mile bike ride in the wind this morning!! That's right 55 miles!! I know that's nothing for some, but it's my longest ride to date.  Felt pretty good, hated the wind.

9 mile run this morning. Felt pretty good.   My legs didn't know that I had biked 55 miles the day before.

Did a 40 minute swim after the run.  The wind had picked up and the water was pretty choppy.  My legs definitely could tell I had biked  55 miles and had just ran 9 miles, because they kept cramping up on me.  I swim close to the shore, in case I have problems and to avoid being hit by a boat.

I swam to shore a couple times during the swim and had to work out some nasty cramps.  All in all a good work out.

I came across a quarter on my run.  I just stepped on it and kept running.  Sorry Bill!!  It may still be there tomorrow if your interested?

10 mile run this morning.  Didn't feel any different then the 9's I've been doing.  I'm finally in the 10's again.  Did some speed as well, felt pretty good.

Went for a swim after the run in Lake Powell.  The water has risen so much, I was swimming in the tamarisks.  Swam for 35 minutes.  Felt good.

25 mile bike ride this morning.  I wore my new triathlon suit.  It's a full body spandex suit designed to be worn during the swim, bike ride and run.  It's pretty slick, I felt kind of gay wearing it.

Went for a 41 minute swim today.  The water is finally starting to warm up.  At the beginning of the week,  I was shivering after my swims.  Now I'm just a little chilly.

Good work out today.  Time to go get on the boat and catch some bad guys.
