Time: 23:15 (7:54 pace) new record!!

Forget everything I said yesterday.  I just blew that theory out of the water.  I took Ginger again, and she dragged me like a dog.  Now she likes to do her business in the middle of the intersections.

So your secret is Ginger the wonder-pooper! Take her in the next race with you. Secret weapon! Call her a service dog :)

Tell your sister to be careful in those intersections!

Holy molly that's fast! Nice work, chicken legs! Looking forward to another record tomorrow!

Mike you are too funny!

From Burt on Tue, Nov 18, 2008 at 12:06:57

I'm thinking about bringing her. The next race I do will be a neighborhood Turkey Trot 5k. Last year I came in third in my division, 6th overall. I hope I'm fast enough, chicken legs and all, to move up a few notches.

From montelepsy on Tue, Nov 18, 2008 at 12:12:18

Third overall and zero in your division?

From Burt on Tue, Nov 18, 2008 at 12:39:07

That would be sweet!

Actually under the results of the triathlon I did, I came in fifth in my age division, but they listed me as fourth. The overall winner was in my age division and he was listed as zeroth. So I came one place away from medaling. (...and 17:43 minutes away)

I am late---but GREAT JOB!!! That is a FAST pace, I have only ever managed to pull it off once, and that was cause i was running in the dark by myself and SCARED!

From Burt on Thu, Nov 20, 2008 at 09:43:40

What are you talking about Kelli? You ran a 7:37 pace in the Onions Day 10k.

From Kelli on Thu, Nov 20, 2008 at 09:45:44

My husband was pulling me! And, a race is different than a run! I have only ever gone below an 8 minute mile on a regular run twice!! And both times I was alone and in a hurry!!
