Well, Marathon Dreamer is going to run in the Javelina Jundred Saturday/Sunday, and I was going to pace her for one of her 6 loops.  Sadly, I had to call her and say there's no way I can do it.  My back hurts so bad right now.  I went to the chiropractor this morning, and it feels a little better.  Dag nabbit!

Way to crush some dreams Burt! I hope your back is feeling better soon.

From Rye on Fri, Oct 26, 2012 at 11:08:03 from 75.174.49.224

Dag nabbit? I don't understand.......clean it up for me please!

From SlowJoe on Fri, Oct 26, 2012 at 16:17:13 from 69.131.141.92

Rye - I'll translate - he meant "consarnit"

Burt - I will sell you my spine-o-cylinder for $500. No, $499 since I like you.

From Burt on Fri, Oct 26, 2012 at 16:21:26 from 71.216.109.214

Trap - I know. I suck!

Rye - dad gummit!

Joe - That sounds like a great bargain, but can you guarantee that I won't get mugged by some local chiropractor goons?

From flatlander on Sun, Oct 28, 2012 at 08:10:51 from 76.31.26.153

Really sorry about your rough week. The chiro got me through my last back injury, but it took a while. Then all of a sudden it was gone. Hang in there buddy.

From Burt on Sun, Oct 28, 2012 at 12:36:51 from 72.223.86.148

Thanks Flat. Update on MD, she made it 72 miles before having to call it quits. That's pretty awesome in my book.

From The Quiet Pirate on Tue, Oct 30, 2012 at 09:28:59 from 152.26.230.54

72 miles is amazing! Hope your "back" at it soon.

From RAD on Tue, Oct 30, 2012 at 23:53:59 from 98.202.23.178

Sorry about the back Burt. I hope it is back in good fashion soon. At least soon enough to not have to drop Vegas Ragnar. What would I do if I missed you? I'm in van 2, not sure which runner...either 8 or 12.

From Burt on Wed, Oct 31, 2012 at 16:10:50 from 71.216.109.214

QP - Why is back in quotation marks? I don't get it.

RAD - I am not "back"ing out of Ragnar. We had our first team meeting last night. But I'm in van #1. Right now they have me assigned as runner #2. No pun intended.

From rAtTLeTrAp on Wed, Oct 31, 2012 at 16:52:05 from 174.255.162.101

I should have been designated runner #2 when I did Ragnar NWP.

From Burt on Wed, Oct 31, 2012 at 17:29:31 from 71.216.109.214

I just re-read your report. You could have been runner #1 and #2. It would have been like doing an ultra. And it would have been ultra cool.

From rAtTLeTrAp on Wed, Oct 31, 2012 at 17:38:49 from 174.255.162.101

DANG IT BURT! Now you did it, I just had to go back and read it again too and now I'm jonesin' for another relay race. I left out a lot of really funny and gross details from that adventure. Maybe I'll get to tell you about them in a Ragnar van someday...

From I Just Run on Thu, Nov 01, 2012 at 16:05:38 from 67.79.11.242

Sorry to hear about your back Burt but I'm curious who is this "Dag Nabbit" guy writing your blog post for you now?

From julieesplin on Fri, Nov 02, 2012 at 11:00:46 from 75.169.181.165

Hope your back gets better quickly.

From Burt on Fri, Nov 02, 2012 at 11:58:55 from 71.216.109.214

Trap - I just talked to my attorney, flatlander, and told him to put "Be in the same van with Rattletrap for a Ragnar" on my bucketlist.

IJR - I've been hijacked!!!

Julie - Thanks, I hope so too. I'm doing Vegas Ragnar next week no matter what :)

From artichoke on Sat, Nov 03, 2012 at 17:42:10 from 74.211.14.96

As one with a history of back problems, "I feel your pain!". Not fun. Get better and then you'll be "back" at it!

From The Quiet Pirate on Mon, Nov 05, 2012 at 09:19:39 from 152.26.230.54

I want to run your leg of vegas ragnar is you "back" out and can't do it.

From Burt on Mon, Nov 05, 2012 at 10:34:37 from 71.216.109.214

The ad at the top of my page right now is for Arizona Pain Specialists and there's a guy holding his back. Nice.

Choke - quite encouraging QP and her silly back jokes.

QP - You can run with me because my back is feeling great today.

From Tara on Tue, Nov 06, 2012 at 15:30:00 from 75.169.142.155

Dang your back! That's right, I said it. Dang it!

From Burt on Tue, Nov 06, 2012 at 15:49:53 from 71.216.109.214

Tara - I'm glad you didn't say "Dang, you're back!" Thanks.

From Tara on Tue, Nov 06, 2012 at 16:05:21 from 75.169.142.155

Stupid auto correct. *you're*. Ah, that's. better. thanks for the heads up. Injured or not, grammar police never take a break!

From Tara on Tue, Nov 06, 2012 at 16:08:02 from 75.169.142.155

By the way, don't you like how I address have a shout out to you at the beginning of each of my race reports lately? It's all (stalker) love.

From Burt on Wed, Nov 07, 2012 at 00:05:33 from 72.223.86.148

I think I understand what you're saying Tara, and yes, I do like it.

From DaleG on Wed, Nov 14, 2012 at 00:09:39 from 152.216.11.5

Hey there, ya, it's been a while. Not much. how 'bout you?

From Burt on Wed, Nov 14, 2012 at 13:24:50 from 71.216.109.214

Haha DaleGee! I ran in the Vegas Ragnar over the weekend. Maybe I should blog about it.

From ACorn on Wed, Nov 14, 2012 at 16:14:53 from 24.2.76.146

Where is the Ragnar report? I'm losing patience

From PRE on Thu, Nov 15, 2012 at 17:14:57 from 99.50.213.11

I am thinking maybe it is time for you to take out those P90x DVDs again! Will you get that report up already.
