I wanted to go running yesterday.  I even got dressed for the occasion.  But I never went.  Luckily I just wore my outfit as jammies and went out this morning.  I wanted to go 3, but after half a mile I could barely breathe.  So I turned around and came home.  I think I just need to keep trying.

Great job getting out! It takes a while after being really sick to get your ability back. That's how James ended up getting picked up by an ambulance in a race post-flu. Plan to ease back, Mr. Lean Chicken.

From Scott Ensign on Tue, Mar 13, 2012 at 13:01:13 from 129.123.3.84

good to see you out. hang in there my friend

From DaleG on Tue, Mar 13, 2012 at 13:03:12 from 71.199.57.238

Glad you made it out, even if only for a little bit. Take it easy and stuff.

From Burt on Tue, Mar 13, 2012 at 14:12:36 from 174.240.192.236

Lybi - woah. Scary for James. Hey, is there a facebook page for that 5k coming up?

Thank you Rooster and Dale.

You should do some cross training on that Barbie Big Wheel :)

From rAtTLeTrAp on Tue, Mar 13, 2012 at 14:31:11 from 24.18.125.122

Seriously, hang in there. It will come back.

From Lybi on Tue, Mar 13, 2012 at 14:51:56 from 174.56.2.152

Burt, I sent you a link to the facebook page. The site to register is tr5kforvalues.blogspot.com. Hope you are well enough by then.

From Burt on Tue, Mar 13, 2012 at 15:13:39 from 174.240.192.236

Thanks Lybi!

Trap - I'll set it up on cylinder blocks and pedal my heart out.

From Tara on Tue, Mar 13, 2012 at 15:35:07 from 75.169.153.34

Burt- I'm going to need you to step it up a notch. Thanks.

From SlowJoe on Tue, Mar 13, 2012 at 20:08:47 from 69.131.141.92

you don't have to keep trying but you do have to try to keep trying.

From Burt on Tue, Mar 13, 2012 at 20:14:14 from 72.223.93.158

Tara - Whatever you say Mrs. Winters.

Joe - I'll try to try to keep trying.

From CookieLegs on Tue, Mar 13, 2012 at 23:23:43 from 70.56.103.94

Yep, just keep trying because if you can do just a little every day, it will make a big difference after a couple weeks. It can take a while to recover from bad bronchitis so hang in there!

From The Quiet Pirate on Wed, Mar 14, 2012 at 11:00:00 from 152.26.59.252

I'm starting to wonder if it's time for you to drink from the magical water fountain. Maybe that's what's been missing and why you're taking so long to recover.

Either that or you caught something from Lady Liberty's high 5.

Take 'er easy, Burt.

From Burt on Wed, Mar 14, 2012 at 14:38:08 from 72.223.93.158

Cookie - Hanging in!

Pirate - Now that you mention it, it has been a while since I've partaken of the mystical properties of the magic water fountain.

From Tara on Wed, Mar 14, 2012 at 19:07:55 from 75.169.153.34

Ha. I didn't even read your post before telling you to turn it up a notch. But now that I have, I'm still going to revert to yesterday's post. Sincerely, Ms. Winters.

From RAD on Wed, Mar 14, 2012 at 20:57:27 from 98.202.23.178

just keep running....

From Burt on Wed, Mar 14, 2012 at 23:38:31 from 174.254.0.79

Tara - so you did a drive by shooting of my blog?

RAD - can I quote you on that?

From Tara on Thu, Mar 15, 2012 at 08:24:49 from 75.169.153.34

Guilty as charged! However, the only thing I am guilty of is shooting with a dirty look, but you couldn't see that so there's little to go off of.
