AM:  I have been a head case the past two days in getting up early to run with the group because I cannot seem to sleep well.  I knew I was going to do a double today so I wanted to get enough rest.  Did a walk in park run today around the Draper perimeter that I have made. A really good rolling loop.  12.12 miles(7:35avg.)  Felt very relaxed the entire run.  Never felt like I even was doing a run.  Very fun workout.

Lunch:  Draper Double.  Got to run with my buddy Ben Martinson who is currently training for the SLC Marathon.  He did a great job today pacing the way for me.  47 degrees outside and after running the morning run just 3 hours earlier, I felt like I could not pass up the weather opportunity so we took off.  15 mph head winds during points of the run were the only negative to this run.  Last two miles I picked it up to 6:50 pace which felt great considering the double.  Hoping this calm/warmth before the storm keeps going and the storm comes Sunday and Monday.  Fingers crossed... :)

Good day Spencer. Way to use the rest day to regenerate a bit and then come right back w/ a pair of good efforts.

Looks like there is a good chance of snow all weekend, starting tomorrow. At least it will clear the air!

yeah this weather is going to be hopefully clean up some inversion, but I might have to do my LR workout I have planned on Sat. on Sunday. I am planning on doing 10 at 7:30 pace and then the next 10 at 6:30 pace with a couple of miles CD after. I just do not want to run on slippery roads Sat. if the weather does get nasty. I usually take Sundays off, but this LR is a must workout for prep on PHX. your thoughts?
