Long-Term Running Goals:
1) Continue running for fitness, relaxation and spiritual renewal
2) Possibly take a shot at three hours in the marathon
Final 20-mile long run in the cycle. Felt great in great weather. Average of 8:12 with strong legs and relaxed body.
General aerobic miles twice around the Pomeroy to Strong Street loop. Averaged 8:00.
Long tedious run on the treadmill with first two miles at 8:30, then progressing to average around 8:10 or 8:12 for the last ten miles.
Very tender inner part of my quadricep near the knee. Stretching seemed to help some, but pain was fairly constant for the whole run.
