I took second at USATF Nationals Cross-Country when I was ten. I was 6th at nationals in the 3000 in 2004.

Personal:

I did lots of competitive running growing up. I'm now 23 and have fibromyalgia and CFS. I just finished nursing school and am going back for my MSN in a few months, but I want to get back in shape and be able to run again.

This morning I ran 5 miles with Salt Lake track club. We did the cemetery loop, and it took me 47:49. I felt really good and it was one of my fastest runs too. Hopefully I'll be able to run with people more often it's always nice to have someone to run with, but my work schedule makes that tricky. Not many people want to run at 4:30 in the morning.

This morning I ran three miles on the treadmill in 29:37. I hate the treadmill but it was supposed to snow so I thought I'd give it a try. I pay too much attention to the monitor when I run on the treadmill and the miles seem to drag on forever but I'm glad I got it done.

Today I ran 3 miles in 29:39. It felt okay but my right quad has been hurting lately. My shift got canceled so I didn't have to work today which was nice.

Today I ran 3 miles at liberty park. My total time was 31:14. I felt pretty sluggish today. I work a graveyard shift tonight so I'm going to take tomorrow off. My right quad has been hurting lately, but it usually warms up and does okay with diclofenac and tylenol.

This morning I woke up with a low grade fever and haven't felt good all day, but I took a long nap and then got my run in. I did 3 miles in 29:27. It didn't feel too bad. I can't wait till I'm in good enough shape that 3 miles is easy.

Today I did 3 miles on the treadmill really slow. I still don't feel good and I didn't want to be outside in the cold so I went to the gym, and then afterwards I sat in the steam room to help my sinuses drain. My total time was 34:51. One of my slowest runs in a while, but I got my 20 miles for the week which is the farthest I've ran in a week in a very long time. Next week I'm going to go for 20 again, and I have a thanksgiving 5k too.
