Personal:

I did lots of competitive running growing up. I'm now 23 and have fibromyalgia and CFS. I just finished nursing school and am going back for my MSN in a few months, but I want to get back in shape and be able to run again.

AM- Today we ran in the neighborhoods by sugarhouse:

It took me 50:57. It was 5.7 miles. I was just running easy because I am doing speedwork tonight. My legs were a little bit tired but other than that, they felt fine.(Pegasus 163)

PM- I ran with Danielle Menlove. We warmed up one mile in 7:40. Then I did 10x200. My splits were all either 34 or 33(I'm not sure what they exactly were, because my watch won't recall the splits). For recovery in between I walked 100 meters and jogged 100 meters. My quads are really tired and stiff. Then we cooled down a little bit over a mile.(Pegasus 165)

It ended up being 3.25 miles and it took me 29:45. I just took it easy because I am starting to back off for regionals. My legs are tired and a little bit sore. (Pegasus 168)

PM-I did one lap around sugar house park and then a mile on the track. My legs are still sore. (Pegasus 171)

AM-  Today I ran in some town called Helper. I just ran 20 minutes out and back. I think it was a little bit more than two miles but I'm not sure. My legs felt fine, but my hamstrings are still sore. (Pegasus 173)

Today I ran the 3000 and the 800. The 3000 was first. I just wanted to qualify for nationals, and the top three go. There were only four in the race. Once the race started I just stayed right on the third place girl. I wanted to stay on her till about 1000 meters to go, because I didn't want to have to try to out kick her. I stayed with her, then I passed her and was able to hold her off till the end, so I was third and qualified. My time was 12:09. That's the fastest I've ran this year, plus it was at a higher elevation than Salt Lake. (Pegasus 174)

Then I was in the 800, and I really didn't want to do it. I was seeded with the slowest time, so I didn't see the point in it, but my Dad talked me in to doing it anyways. I ran a 2:49. My legs were exhausted. I started out fine but the second lap didn't go so well. My first split was a 1:15, and then a 1:34.
