I took second at USATF Nationals Cross-Country when I was ten. I was 6th at nationals in the 3000 in 2004. Personal: I did lots of competitive running growing up. I'm now 23 and have fibromyalgia and CFS. I just finished nursing school and am going back for my MSN in a few months, but I want to get back in shape and be able to run again. |

Today I ran from my house, to the junior high and back. It was just over 4 miles. It took me 42:37. It felt good, but it was really hot on the way back. I was wearing a new pair of shoes, they felt fine but were really stiff.
Conditioning: 45 push-ups, 30 dips, 15 pull-ups, 1 minute hand stand, 30 leg lifts, 100 hollow rockers, 100 hollow crunches |

This morning I went to the track, warmed-up half a mile and then did some hurdle drills to practice for steeple chase. Then I decided to see if I could clear the hurdle. I was too scared to do it till about the thirtieth try. After I cleared it several times I decided I should do the steeple chase in the meet this weekend, because it would be my only chance to do it before state. So I registered for it then I looked at the schedule to see when it was and I found out it was today. So I went down there and ran it, I was happy with the race because I cleared all the hurdles which was my main goal. It was a 2000m I ran it in 9:18. It was really hard, alot harder than a regular race, but it was fun.
Conditioning: 100 back arches, 50 calf raisers-forward, 50 calf raisers-inward, 50 calf raisers-outward, 3x30 second wall sits, 30 dips, 50 mountain climbers |

USATF Track Meet at BYU- 1500 m 00:05:56, Place in age division: 1 | Easy Miles | Marathon Pace Miles | Threshold Miles | VO2 Max Miles | Total Distance | 1.00 | 0.00 | 0.00 | 1.00 | 2.00 |
| Today I ran the 1500 at the track meet at BYU. I was very sore from doing the steeplechase earlier in the week and when I first woke-up I could barely walk. I got to the meet a little bit early so I would have enough time to get my legs to loosen up. By the time the race started I was still very tight, but I figured I would just see what I could do. I went out at about 1:30, but I slowed down because my final time was 5:56. I'm not sure what my splits were. Me and Alexander Barry were together most of the time but in the last 200 meters I picked it up and he didn't stay with me. I felt bad outkicking him, but it was good practice since my kick needs some work. Overall I was happy with the race, considering how I felt, but I need to improve my time by alot if I want to qualify for nationals. |
