5K: 21:26 (2005)

4 mile: 28:10 (2005)

10K: 43:33 (2010)

10 mile: 1:13:35 (2009) (1:12:15 split in 1/2 marathon, 2011)

1/2 marathon: 1:34:31 (2011)

marathon: 3:19:15 (2013)

Short-Term Running Goals:

3:20 marathon - Eugene Marathon, April 28, 2013 (can I say I really want a sub 3:20? but I will be happy with 3:20-3:23) -- whoohoo!

Some good intermediate races 15K - 1/2 marathon, to gauge my fitness level (done this, hit a 1:34:35 1/2 marathon in March 2013, on a hilly course)

Going after my 10 mile PR in Fall 2013

Maybe some good 10K races after the infernal Arizona summer is over!

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to be one of those runners who is still running in their 80s (or 90s?).  You know the ones, who look all grisley and fit?  That is what I would like!  Until then, I just want to work hard and be as fast as I can, for as long as I can.

1:17:34. ha ... don't I wish 2:17:34!  OUCH.  I am estimating 15, because it was a hard run.  Uphill, probably climbing from 7500ft to 8100 or higher, and the terrain was killer.  BUT, it was cool, and it was fun, and ouch, my butt hurt afterward!  Especially because I then climbed into a car for a 4 hour car ride.  LOVED this weekend.

And, so  many good races.  Ritz nailed it!! Amy VanAlstine (of Team USA Arizona) won the Jim Click 8K in Tucson (she and her boyfriend stayed at our house this weekend so she could race), Stephanie Rothstein was 6th in the USA 10K championships.

And, all the wonderful fastrunningblog races, I am still in awe!!

AM: (7.5 miles). Radiation run, pretty fast 1:05:23. Had to rush home to take Jake the hound dog to the vet. He has been limping for about 4 weeks now. At first I thought maybe it was just a little "sprain" from running around at daycare (yes, he is spoiled, actually it is more that we are too busy to make sure he gets enough exercise so 2x/week we take him to run around with other dogs for the day).  Well, he had Valley Fever and was treated for a year right after we move here, his lungs were FULL of fibrosis on the x-ray and there was a little spot of something in his "shoulder".  The vet is not sure if it the Valley Fever rearing its head again ... or all that stuff was residual from his last bout.  So, we are waiting for a viral titer and giving him doggy NSAIDS.

PM: 4.5 easy.

I am so worried about the next 2 months.  I am waaaay overwhelmed with work as it is and this coming Wednesday I start my new job!  For the next 8 weeks or so I will be working 1/2 time at two jobs.  IT is going to be crazy.  Seriously, crazy!
