2:01:23. Nice run, beautiful day! I was going to drive down to a trail, but I am swamped with work and decided that the hilly run from home is good training - and saves me about 40 mins travel time. The first 7 miles are pretty rollers much like allie's sunnyside up route (though only at 2500 ft instead of 4500ft, which makes a huge difference). Then the next 7 are longer grades of hills, but not as steep, the last 2 miles are a pretty huge climb back up into the mountains. Very good Lydiard training. Fast indoor racing in Birmingham, England this weekend! Next weekend are huge for NCAA -- the fastest races will likely be at Seattle - because they have a ~300meter indoor track (instead of the standard 200m) - which is where U of A will be ... everyone will be shooting for NCAA Championship qualifiers so it will be a really good weekend of college racing! |
