I ran a nice 4 miles or so with Cubby Zach and Aaron, it felt pretty good, I was tired but it was easier than the past few days haha. Then I ran a 300m hard with Read and Brandon, that was fun! It felt good to go fast even though fast right now isn't so fast, it will be soon! As I run consistently it will get easier and feel better. The plan right now I to just do aerobic workouts and getting my base back. As I was leaving the school today I walked past a group of my favorite freshmen from last year who have grown and changed a ton, hardly recognized them, but that was really fun! HUGE NEWS:Coach Murphy is going to be featured as one of the 12 best high school coaches for track and cross country in 2016. I'm really happy about that, he deserves it! Can't wait to read the book he will be in! I'm grateful I've been able to be coached by him, he's helped reach some huge goals. If any runner follows his instructions they're going to end up with a lot of success and more than that, a lot of skills to stay healthy for the rest of their lives! |
