Jake tricked me into doing a time trial tomorrow so I did a quick pre-time trial jaunt today right before my recitation. Got there pretty sweaty and barely on time for the 2nd week in a row.

I took today pretty slow, averaged 7:44 even with 2 200ms at 42 seconds. Felt alright. Bump is still on my hamstring, but from what I've read it will just slowly go away as I run more. My legs are feeling fine, maybe just a little beaten up still.

Tomorrow I just want to do a 3 miler in under 17 minutes. I'm going to start out easy, maybe even as slow as 90 seconds for the first lap. If all goes well I'll split a 5:20 for mile 3 and go well under my goal. But the way this year has gone I could see myself running anywhere from 16:30 to DNFing or running 18 minutes if my lungs start acting up. Been an inconsistent year, I need to get back on asthma medication.
