I think I'm ready to run under 5:00 for the mile. Today I ran 5 400s with about a minute and a half/2 mins recovery between each. My first 400 I ran at what felt like a 75 effort and ended up running a 67, I went easier for lap two and it was still a 68. My last 3 were about 70, I think there might have been a 72 for one of them. Then I cooled down. I think my body is ready for an attempt, I guess we'll find out if it's there yet! |
