7:00AM 48F sun just shining. It was cold at first but warmed up nicely. Felt not so good at the first 3-4 miles but then it got better. I guess I was too cold at first. The last portion of it was a bit hard but I don't think I slowed down much or at all.  This is the last long run before the 10K next Sunday. Going to taper and take it easy this week. I feel like I need it.

10:30AM, 55F 50% humidity. Excellent conditions. Did my usual route and was able to keep a nice pace (7:44). This is sort of a taper week toward the 10K on Sunday.

10:30 AM 48F sunny. Was cold. I ran 0.75 miles to the bottom of a hill and did 3 hills repeats (not much but it's my taper week). Then I went on to the rest of the run. Over all the pace was good (7:42). I hope weather will be good on the weekend. I want to see if I can pull a 7:30 average pace for the 10K. Easy run tomorrow and then some light speed work on Thursday and I will be pretty much done for this race.

11AM 48F sunny. Went to my usual run and ran it too fast (7:37 average). It didn't feel that hard during but I guess I twisted my right ankle a little bit and it hurts some. I will have to see about tomorrows run.

Right ankle hurts so no speed work today. It is not crucial 3 days before the race. I went to the gym did 10 minutes fast walk on the treadmill with medium incline, 20 minutes on the bike (6mi) and some weights. I'm taking Ibuprofen and trying to rest. I need to retire my current shoes.

11:30AM 60F 90% humidity. Used a break in the rain to put a run. My ankle flet much better so I decided to go ahead and run. I bought new shoes yesterday and they felt great and I'm going to use them on Sunday. I actually did something which was kind of a tempo run. Pace was 7:25 for 4.75 miles and I had still something left when I was done. I have 48 hours rest till Sunday.
