10:30 AM 48F sunny. Was cold. I ran 0.75 miles to the bottom of a hill and did 3 hills repeats (not much but it's my taper week). Then I went on to the rest of the run. Over all the pace was good (7:42). I hope weather will be good on the weekend. I want to see if I can pull a 7:30 average pace for the 10K. Easy run tomorrow and then some light speed work on Thursday and I will be pretty much done for this race.

On October 19th you ran 7:32 pace for 12 miles. I think you will go well below 7:30 for your 10K.

Your training has been real good. I think it will show in your race.

It depends if I taper well this week. I've been feeling tired in the last week or so. Also the 10K starts at 2PM and I am more of a morning person. I know, I know, I should stay positive and not start thinking about excuses.

Many times you feel tired during a taper but come race day everything clicks. I agree with Scott I think you will be surprised how well you run in this 10K.
